The Madras High Court has warned young couples that due to the recognition of live-in relationships, people are forgetting the rites of married life in the country. The court said on June 1, the meaning of the word 'sanskar' has been lost after the introduction of the Domestic Violence Act, 2005, which allowed live-in-relationships.
